Overzealous party officials and election supervisors are "purging" and "caging" voters off the rolls, often targeting African-American and students. Meanwhile, many people who thought they signed up to vote often aren't, because they did not meet a certain profile.
On October 1st, call or email your elections officials (click on your state for info) and confirm that you are on the list.
