America In Solidarity is governed by an Executive Board that serve two-year terms. The Board helps direct the organization and meets on a monthly basis. Playfully nicknamed “The Most Powerful Woman in Pierce County,” Patty is the secretary-treasurer of the Pierce County Central Labor Council. She is the first woman elected to the position in the 116 year history of the council. A former union representative of SEIU Local #6, Patty is now a member of IBEW Local #76. Besides America In Solidarity, Patty tirelessly serves on 10 other boards and committees benefiting labor and the community. A lifelong resident of Tacoma, she is a wife, mother, and the proud grandmother of two.
Tracy, a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, became a member of IBEW Local #76 in 1998, when she started the construction electrician apprenticeship program. She is the first female executive officer for IBEW Local #76 in its 112 year history. In June
of 2004 she was hired as the Special Projects Coordinator and worked to increase voter registration, voter education and get out the vote campaigns. In December of 2004 Tracy was offered a full time staff position as the Membership and Business Development Director. She is still the Recording Secretary for Local 76, and on the AIS Board, as well as the Sisters in the Building Trades group. She is also serving at the pleasure of Governor Chris Gregoire as the electrician representative to the Washington State Electrical Board and as a trustee to the construction electrician program at Bates Technical College, a delegate to the Pierce County Central Labor Council, and the Pierce County Building and Construction Trades Council.
She serves as the recording secretary to the Greater Seattle Bird Dog Association. Tracy lives with her husband and dogs in Tacoma.
President of the Pierce County Central Labor Council and a Vice-President of the Washington State Labor Council, Vance is a longshoreman with ILWU Local #23. Vance lives with his wife Kimberlie in Tacoma, WA.
