Save everything you write, either in a blog, or somewhere on your computer. If you get articles printed, or you receive responses from politicians on the issues, store that stuff in a special area so you have a record of your activity. Sometimes it's good to go back through your work and remind yourself that you have been working. Often when we're involved in a struggle we forget all the work we've done that had an impact. It's good to have a record of our achievements. Also, if you really like to write, having a blog is a great way of linking up with people in your community. Just by putting your city or county name somewhere in your blog, you can attract people to you who want to talk about issues from a local perspective. And then you can try to motivate those folks to get involved.
