Tracy, a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, became a member of IBEW Local #76 in 1998, when she started the construction electrician apprenticeship program. She is the first female executive officer for IBEW Local #76 in its 112 year history. In June of 2004 she was hired as the Special Projects Coordinator and worked to increase voter registration, voter education and get out the vote campaigns. In December of 2004 Tracy was offered a full time staff position as the Membership and Business Development Director. She is still the Recording Secretary for Local 76, and on the AIS Board, as well as the Sisters in the Building Trades group. She is also serving at the pleasure of Governor Chris Gregoire as the electrician representative to the Washington State Electrical Board and as a trustee to the construction electrician program at Bates Technical College, a delegate to the Pierce County Central Labor Council, and the Pierce County Building and Construction Trades Council. She serves as the recording secretary to the Greater Seattle Bird Dog Association. Tracy lives with her husband and dogs in Tacoma.
