As you may have heard, President Bush and the Democratic leadership in the House and Senate have been working on a new megatrade deal that would sell out workers worldwide in the service of greater profits for multinational corporations and greater campaign contributions for Democratic candidates in '08. Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! had a good column about this in the Seattle PI recently, and it's the number one topic on our site right now.

I'm interested in what our members think of the Dems negotiating new free trade deals in secret without full Congressional oversight. Is this the kind of government we thought we were voting for when we put the Dems back in power in '06?
