
First elected to represent Washington's 28th District in 2004, Representative Tami Green serves a district that spans Tacoma, Fircrest, Lakewood and Univeristy Place. Raised in an active-duty military family, Rep. Tami Green understands the
importance of commitment, community and service. She brings her
extensive experience as a mother, grandmother, nurse, and community
activist to the State Legislature, and will continue to address the
vital issues of health care, public schools, and family wage jobs.
Tami has been a Registered Nurse for nearly 25 years including
twelve years of practice at Western State Hospital and the Child
Treatment Center in Steilacoom.
Tami signed the America In Solidarity pledge in 2006 and spoke at our May Day event earlier this year.
